Our background checks can be used to find out why a member of staff is absent from work to often or to find out if someone is moonlighting or passing sensitive company information onto your competitors. http://www.emginvestigations.co.uk/background_checks.html

Will my partner know I am checking up on them? No. Investigations by EMG Investigations are completely confidential and completely private. No-one will ever know that they’ve been investigated for infidelity unless you want them to when the investigation has been completed by our expert private detectives. http://www.emginvestigations.co.uk/surveillance_evidence.html

CHANGES FOR CRB CERTIFICATES
According to the Home Office, old and minor offences are no longer required to be disclosed on CRB certificates.  This has resulted from the Court of Appeal judgment under Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights.

The changes would mean that on new certificates the following would no longer need to be disclosed:
  • For anyone under the age of 18 at the time of the offence, convictions that were over 5 ½ years old cautions more than 2 years old.
  • For anyone over the age of 18 at the time of the office, convictions that that were more than 11 years old and cautions that were over 6 years old.

The changes are, however, not for any offences which resulted in a custodial sentence nor for specific offences.  Furthermore, anyone convicted of more than one offence will have to disclose all convictions.

The changes have not been finalised as they need to go before Parliament to be approved and until then the current rules remain.

Adoption Tracing is one of our specialist areas.

Our main area of adoption tracing is for a person searching for their biological parents or family members. However, we have also been successful in parental/sibling searching for adopted children (once the child has reached adulthood).

EMG Investigations researchers are highly skilled in genealogy and this is also coupled with our experience in private investigations which often provide the missing stages of those who have tried to trace their history personally or perhaps have used Geneology researchers. http://emginvestigations.co.uk/family_tracing.html
